THE CHALLENGE
Building on the visual paradigm of one simple object, this project created many opportunities to look at this object from many alternative viewpoints, through the exploration of it's inherent meaning to others. This project consisted of multiple parts: to choose an everyday item via a blogged list of entries, and attach a personality to the chosen item by creating a website showcasing that personality. Then create a video of a proposed website where data could be accumulated about such items.
THE SOLUTION
Visit this scrolling website at lynturnbull.wixsite.com/hamm
Watch the video explaining the proposed member input-driven site.
The process blog is located at latitudesign.wordpress.com/
THE OUTCOME
Artifacts were compiled and one item was chosen from this list to become the working object. A blog was created to discuss the rationale behind each of the items, and why the final decision was made.
A scrolling website was created to understand the background of the object. Various visual identities were considered for the look and feel of the website to refer to the object.
A video was created to explain the proposed website that would be driven with data input by site members.
