THE REQUIREMENT

Take the common-place and make into a coherent visual. Learn the design process while composing photographs, sketching, critiquing (being critiqued and providing critique), and writing a formal design report

THE RESPONSE

I took photos of house doors I passed by often, created a visual design. The first iteration was presented to a group, critiqued, and then significantly updated for a final graphic submission and rationale report.

HARD KNOCKS ?

I found the hardest part of this assignment was time allocation. Each step, from concept to execution took more time than I had anticipated. I learned to refine my thought processes and expectation in order to deliver a good product within time constraints.
