THE REQUIREMENT

As part of a team, create a magazine. As an individual, create a 4-page spread for the magazine. The spread must include an original interview and original artwork/photography. The spreads must work within the confines set out by other teams of the magazine, ie Style Guide or Art Direction.

THE RESPONSE

I interviewed Lisa brawn, who did an art installation of old carousel horses that she re-finished outdoors at Leighton Art Centre in 2016. I was also part of the Style Guide Team, and was responsible for ensuring that all contributors adhered to the style guidelines. As such, our team was responsible for the final edit of the magazine before going to press.

SCENE OF THE CRIME ?

I had a very hard time trying to follow the artistic style of the magazine, and understand feedback, especially when it was hurtful and unkind.
